- (continued from previous page)St. Caoive of Kilkeany was an early Irish saint who had her convent at Kilkeany at Borrisoleigh road. About a mile away was the famous monastery of Letteragh. The De Morisco(Morrissey), confiscated it in the year 1200.
- St. Brigid is the patron saint of my parish. She was born in 464 in Faughart, near Dundalk. She grew up a very pious girl. When she prayed in the fields the lambs followed her, and every creature loved her. The(continues on next page)
