    This is a prayer my mother taught me when I was a child
    "Hail and blessed be the hour and moment
    In which the son of God was born
    Of the most pure Virgin
    At midnight in Bethlehem in the piercing cold
    Devout save O Lord
    Graciously hear our prayers
    Grant our petitions to the merits of Christ Our Lord" Amen.
