  1. In olden times the people played nothing but hurling because it was a real Irish game. It is played with a hurley and a tan ball. The field in which they play this game is 140 yards long.
    On each side there is fifteen men and hey each have a different name. When every any side disobey the rules the other side get a goal. Denis Maher of Killiana was a famous hurler. The posts the people have now are all Gaelic.
