  1. Local Songs

    You sportsmen of this parish,

    This is a local song
    You sportsmen of this parish,
And you winners of the Gael,
To see them for the final
Not one of them should fail,
Your sons of King Cormack on many a field have been
    But you found yourself contrary
When you met our young fifteen
    Then hurrah for bold Moycarkey
    May your banners never fail
    You beat Boherlahan and Fethard
    And levelled Kickams well.
But i never will forget the day that Cashel's pride went down
Before the sweepers men in dear old Thurles town.
