  1. Weather Lore
    Here are some local beliefs as regards the weather:-
    If the sun sets in a pale sky the weather will be bad, but, if the sky is very red at sunset the weather will be fine.
    When the stars are numerous and shine brilliantly in a clear sky it is a sign of frost.
    A ring around the moon is a sign of rain.
    A rainbow in the evening is a sign of fine weather, but, a rainbow in the morning is a bad sign of the weather.
