  1. A Great Jumper
In this district there was a great jumper named Anthony Cream who resided at Killycross, Lorrha and is now in Elphin in Co. Roscommon. He jumped a river about twenty feet wide. The river divides the townsland of Ballymacegan from the townsland of Kilycross. There were many people watching the feat but none of them could beat him jumping.
I heard the above story from Edward Cream who is a brother of Anthony Crean.
    Edward Crean's address is
Mr. Edward Crean, Kilycross, Lorrha, Birr.
