- There was once living an old hag in a mud cabin in a bog in Munster. She had the power of changing herself into any form she pleased. She had not much food so she decided to change herself into a cat.
One day she came as a stray cat to a man who lived near by named Tom Connor and she lived with him for years until one day she put he claws through his leg. He started off [?] with the cat in a bag to sell her. He met a huntsman with a pack of hounds who hunted her until they killed her. After that they would hunt nothing but mice.
