  1. On top of Ballintubber mountain stands a rock called Parlour Rock which is about 60 or 70 feet high. On the west side of this rock is a cave known locally as "Seomra Nora". The following is the story of the cave. The daughter of a chieftan from Bruree who had to fly from her home for some reason to refuge in the cave and from her it got the name of "Seomra Nora"
