    when the evening came it was several feet high on the roads.
    Children coming from school has to face the cold wind which seemed to blow the snow about very much. When we arrived home from school we were very cold and anxious to go near the fire.
    Next morning when we looked out the window it seemed to be very high. Creamery cars could not travel, and people had to come with shovels and spades and clear away the snow which was six feet high in some parts of the roads.
    Every place looked very lonely as there was nobody to be seen outdoors. On the third day it was beginning to melt a little but cars could not travel for some days. Afterwards school children
