  1. Crock is a field situated on the left hand side of the Brown Bridge about one mile from Killavullen. There is a story connected with this field, and many older people of the district often related this story.
    On a certain Sunday morning there was a man on his way to mass and he was in a very great hurry as he was nearly late. As he was passing, "Crock field he heard music and he got off the bike. He climbed over the ditch and saw the pot of gold.
    He put a red piece of flannel over the crock and went away to mass. When he came home from Mass he saw red patches of flannel
