  1. Long ago a man who was to be confirmed was examined by the bishop.
The latter said "I hear you are a great man". The man answered "I am".
The bishop then asked him very easy questions and the man answered every one of them.
After a while the bishop asked the man "Did anything remarkable happen at the death of Christ". The man stopped for a few minutes then scratched his head and said
"Not to my knowledge my lord". All present laughed at his answer.
