    "Kate Kinsale" who is from Kinsale, goes begging from house to house. She comes for fair-days and remains for a week. She lodges with Mrs O' Donovan, Abbey Street.
    "Whitehat" was an old man who went around begging about five years ago. He was called 'Whitehat" because he usually wore a light-coloured hat.
    Calnan lived in a little house in the woods, now owned by the Convent. He did not beg in the village, but in the country houses.
