  1. There is a stone in Jerome Collins' field which is situated in Lios Beithe. It is said that a man and his dog were in pursuit of a hare from Curragh Hill. The dog was not the length of himself behind the hare when the hare leaped a distance of two miles to that stone.
    The prints of the man's knee, the dog's leg and the hare's leg are plain to be seen.
