  1. Máire Ghaedhealach was a wicked woman. She used to kill children and frighten people.
She used to change herself into a rat, a mouse and a crow and other things.
She used be seen around Kilcolman forge.
One night a priest named Father Crowley was coming from a sick call. He was riding on horse back and Máire Ghaedhealach sat up behind him. When he went home the man that was working for him wanted to unsaddle the horse but the priest would not let him. The priest died afterwards.
Máire Ghaedhealach was banished for ever.
She had four children and she burned them. People used be afraid to go out late by night for fear they would be killed.
