  1. Treasure is reported to be buried in ditch in Nedineagh West, Dunmanway, Co. Cork. Donncad Dubh a highway-man of long ago buried it there.
    When he was hanged in Cork he asked was there anybody there from Nedineagh. He said there was treasure buried in a ditch in Nedineagh, from the Bandon river to the main road.
    Many efforts were made to find the treasure but were not successful. The treasure is believed to consist of a boot of gold and the value is unknown.
