    and his arm swelled up. The doctors ordered him to Hospital to get his arm cut off. The poor man had a big family depending on him and everybody felt sorry for them. Everyday he knelt down on his knees to beg of God that his arm might be spared At length his wife told him to go to the blessed well of Elphin Early next morning he got up before sun rise and dressed in his best clothes and off he went in his bare feet. When he reached there he knelt down, prayed from the bottom of his heart to God and made a pilgrimage around the well three times and knelt at each tree then he put his hand into the water and immediately he felt the blood rushing through his veins and the wound was healed. When he went home hardly anbody knew him he was so well again.
