Cockroache's and worms are always creeping around the floors when rain is approaching.
Cats, are always sitting very near the fire, when rain is near at hand.
Swallows, flying low is a very sure sign of rain also
Sea Gulls, come to dry land when there is a sign of very showery weather, and an awful storm
