  2. Old people say that if you start a thing on a Saturday you will never get it finished.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are lucky days if not April Fool's Day.
The people say Saturday's flit is a short sit. Any person or animal that is born on Whit Sunday will be unlucky. People say it is late to put in corn in May. They also say no potatoes should be in before St. Patrick's Day.
