    Calleagh. He made them cradles out of wood. The people carried them away on their backs. Most of the people made baskets and creels long ago.

  2. The people used to scutch flax at home long ago. There was a forge at Three Mile House and the people used to go to get things made. The people used to make candles in a "Caiom". They would melt grease in the caiom. Then they would roll it up. They would put the inside of rushes in the candles. They would leave it in a big candle-stick with three feet on it. They would leave it in the corner. It would be spitting
