- There are stories told in our district about fairy animals, such as wild cats. A wild cat has the shape of any cat. He never appeared to anyone. It is said that the cat is minding a treasure in Paul Mulvaney's land, Carrownadargney, Geevagh, Co Sligo. There is also a black pig at Tom Reilly's Carrownadargney, Geevagh, Co Sligo. It is said that the pig drank out of a well, and it is called Tobar na Muca.
