    saw a great giant coming towards him. He got up to his feet and he killed him. Next day he did the same and on the third day another giant came. He caught him by the ankles and knocked him on his back and he told him not to do him any harm and he would give him his magic rod, and told him to strike the rock. He struck on the rock and low and behold, he saw before his eyes a black horse, a sword, and a suit of clothes. Next day there was a great worm to come in out of the sea, and eat the king's daughter if there was nobody
