  1. A man named Charles Crowley lived in Leitrim Village about the year 1933, and the local people say that if he lived a few months longer he would have reached his 105th year.
    In his youth he was very strong. He could lift any weight and throw it yards away from him.
    One day he was very vexed and he ran away. He never stopped running until he was at the foot of Sliabh-an-Farainn. He was so vexed that he went up to the top of the mountain and did not come down for any one. When he was half way up he saw a big stone about 4 curt weight.
