    Gave down their names to be advertised

    Eleven o'clock was the hour precisely,
    At which the horses were set to run,
    They then were called to the place of starting,
    And off they went as the bell was rung

    Away they started but quickly parted,
    Like the star of Egypt she led them,
    But on their return they had caused to mourn,
    For out of five there came in but one,
