   I learned many nice short prayers from my mother when I was young. When I am going to bed I say there are four corners on my bed, there are four Angles now in spread, Mathew Mark Luck John god bless this bed that I lay on. When I go to bed I say. Oh merciful Jesus hung in a tree, my soul and my body I give unto thee, O merciful Jesus have mercy on me. Another prayer I also say when I waken in the morning O Angel of God my guardian dear to whom God's love commits me hear ever the day be at my side to light and and guard to rule and guide. O Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on me.
