  1. When a person is not paying for things in a shop they say "We will get them on tick.
    When men are at a fair and if they are buying or selling anying, such as a cow and if they were making a bargain and another man came along he would say "Split the difference.
    If anybody buys a cow and if he gives a lot of money for her and if the cow died the people would say "He got a cant with her.
    When people buy a cow or a horse or anything else the seller always gives luck money and it is according to the price the buyer gives to the seller luck money is given.
    When you are buying hatching eggs you always give money for them, so that you would have luck with them or some people don't give money, but exchange eggs with another person.
    When men meet in a fair the custom is for one man to ask another in for a drink.
