  1. When two people are making the bargain, and if anyone who them is near hand he will say " Split the difference."
    If two people are bargaining, and when they are finished the buyer will say "Is it done at that."
    If a person bought a beast, that it was no good, for a good deal of money, the surrounding neighbours would say "He got a cant with that."
    If a person is getting a loaf from the shop-keeper without any money he would say "I want a loaf on tick, or on score, or on the file."
    If a person wants to exchange one thing, for another he would say "Will you swop this, for that."
    If a person gets an ounce of tobacco he should get a small bit with it, and this is called the "Gom.
    If a person is getting a pint of milk he says "Put in the tillie as well."
    If a person has plenty of money, the people say "He has plenty of dough."
    When there is money between the buyer, and the seller, they say to one another "Come on in, and we will have a few jorams for the luck money."
