    The old people of this locality are very good judges of the weather, because they can foretell very accurately when a change is coming.
    They tell you that if you see a horse with his back to a wall, it is a sure sign of rain, or if you see the hens running into the house on a wet morning it is a sign of a wet day.
    When they see a cat with her back to the fire, they say that we may soon expect rain.
