  1. In my district the people have a cure for practically every physical defect that may occur on a person.
    The cure for Neuralgia is to smoke tobacco every hour during the day and he who does so is quite well again on the following day.
    If a person cuts his finger he puts a cobweb on it. Many people think that the dirt that is in the cobweb affects the cut.
    If a person has a boil the cure is to apply a plaster of Comfrey root to it. This sticks on it
