Ar an leathanach seo
- According to old people there is a valuable treasure hidden under the walls of the remains of an old castle in Mayhenna by the river. It is supposed to be put there by some of the Fitzgeralds in the fifteenth Century. Where it is is unknown but it seems they had to leave by surprise. There was no attempt made to find it but a person dreamed of it and was told how to find it but made no attempt to get it. This treasure is in an iron lined first with gold, then with silver then it is filled with cutlery. The value of this treasure is not known but it is supposed to be worth hundreds of pounds.
