- One evening in the month of June about 25 years ago a terrible thunder storm burst forth and it was the of the whole countryside.
About 6 o'clock in the evening it comenced and never ceased until 4 o'clock on the following morning.
Some people in this locality were saving hay about 1/2 mile from their homes, when the thunder storm started and had to take shelther at neighbours houses until 4 or 5 o'clock in the morning.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
