Ar an leathanach seo
- I live in the townland of Pollnucra. It got its name from a tucker's mill that was worked there years ago. There is no mill there now but a big hole where the mill was on the bank of the river.
There is another townland near ours called Killuran. It got its name from a chapel that was built there by Saint Luirn. There is no church there now but a graveyard. It was from that holy man the downland got its name.
There is another downland near that one called Elm-hill. It got its name from all the elm trees that grow in it.- Bailitheoir
