  1. The name of the village in which I live is called Ballyforan. It is not very large. They are six buisness house, a public house, a post-office, a hall, a parish priests residence, a Catholic Church, two schools, a Garda Barracks and a courthouse in it. It is situated nearly on the Banks of the river Suck. There is a place called "Fraoc" near the village. It is a rock place covered with heather and this is how it gets is name. Two caves were discoverd there a few years and there are supposed to be several others. There is a very old cemetry at Taughboy a short from Ballyforan and there are the ruins of an
