  1. A man who lived in Carrentarriff was coming home (hom) one night very late from the fair of Roscommon. He was alone, and as he came near his home in Carrentariff he met two men, as he thought, on the road. They spoke to him, and asked if he was hungry. He said he was, and they then invited him into a field with them, and he saw a fine supper laid on a table in a corner
