    the ploughs weren't so plentiful. They used to use wooden ploughs some time ago also but there are only a few left now.
    The spades used by the farmers are bought in the shop. Before the farmer sets the potatoes he cuts each potato into three pieces and he leaves an eye or a bud in each piece and if he didn't the potatoes wouldn't grow. (drawing of a spade)
    The local people help each other sowing the potatoes. When one farmer is sowing his potatoes the other farmers that live near him give him a day sowing the potatoes and in that way they help each other.
