    8. The lining inside the shell of a raw egg is used for a burn to exclude air.
    9. The Starch of Grated Potatoes and cream, is good for a burn. The potatoes should be grated and the water pressed out into a vessel. The starch from the potatoes collects and sets at the bottom. The water should be skimmed off the top and the starch mixed with cream should be applied to the burn.
    10. Dandelion. is good for a bad stomach when boiled in water and strained and the brewage drank.
    11. Nettles. are good to cure pains when boiled in water and the liquid drank.
    12. Carrigeen Moss. is a cure for a bad stomach, when boiled with milk and strained and left thicken.
    13. Onions and Milk. Onions and milk boiled together and drank are a cure for a cough.
    14. Flax seed is a cure for a cough when left simmer in water by the fire for a few hours and lemon juice squeezed into it and strained and the brewage drank.
    15. Buttermilk when boiled is good for a cold
