- Holy Well at Killokennedy, Broadford. This well is situated in the townland of Killokennedy about 1 1/2 miles from Broadford. The old church of Killokennedy now in ruins was beside it. A large ash tree grew beside it but it fell some years ago. A large flag was placed at the north side of the well by a priest of the Penal days - Father Duggan. The tomb of this priest was erected by himself long before his death and bears the inscription "This thomb was erected by William O'Doogan, Rector of the parish of Killalowe, Killsealy and Killokennedy 1423."
The well is now practically closed in by stones and weeds though its site is very well known locally.
The patron saint was St. Cronan whose feast day was kept on March 8th. Rounds were made on that day.
They were performed for the cure of ailments, for temporal needs, and spiritual benefits. Three visits were paid and three rounds were performed(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
