  1. Hollow'een Customs
    Many games are played on Hollow'een night and much superstitions are believed. A cake is made and much superstitions is also believed with this. A ring is put in it and it is said that whoever would get the ring would be married the first. Another game is to put a blind over a girls eyes and make her go out to the field and pull a head of cabbage. When she comes back she puts it over the door and the first man who comes in in the morning is said to be her future husband. If a girl goes out to the barn and begins to riddle oats in the name of the devil a man supposed to be her future husband comes in and takes the riddle from her. Three mugs of water are left on the table, two of clean water and one of dirty water. A girl is blindfolded and led to the table. If she lifts the mug of dirty water her husband will drink.
