Ar an leathanach seo

  1. It is the custom in nearly every district for poor people to go from house to house selling things such as pins, needles, spools, buttons, combs and other small articles.
The ones who generally come to this district are Paddy Murray and Paddy Mc:Cabe, and another man who sells tin cans, porringers and baisins. The people who get these things from them generally give them money or sometimes they give them bread, eggs or potatoes in exchange for them.
They mostly come before fair days, and before Christmas and Easter.
