“Long ago there was a hedge-school in Derryshane.”
Long ago there was a hedge-school in Derryshane. Every morning the children could be seen winding their way through fields and matches till they came to the hedge-school. Every week the master used spend a few days in each of the scholar's houses. (no title)

There was a hedge-school in Moyralla. They had a row of stones for seats and had them covered with sedge. The master used to have potatoes and salt for his dinner. (no title)
