  1. There was a man there long ago and he had two sons. His wife was also living with him. One day one of the sons forgot to say grace before his dinner. They were eating a boar. When the son started to say grace in the middle of the dinner, he said
    O God above look down on us,
    Have pity on us four,
    And give us meat that we can eat,
    And take away the boar.

  2. Two men were putting out turf off Cranny bog. One of the men said to the other take the heels of the cart. Said the other where will I leave them.
