The queen rushed out of the room and told all in the castle what the young queen had done. Then the people were so horrified that they all began to call out that she should be burnt, as was done with witches in them times. They began to prepare a great pile of wood to have it ready for the next day.
The king was like a man insane, but no matter how he coaxed her she never spoke, but just gave a sorrowful shake of her head, so he could do no better but agree to have her burnt next day.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
