    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    There are 2 fairy forts in this district namely Mahony's fort and Brew's fort. Mahony's fort is about 1/2 mile outside the town and Brew's fort is in Moyadda.
    These two forts are not in view of each other. There are trees around Mahony's fort and a fence round Brew's. They are both circular in shape. At the sides of these forts there are passages made by cows passing in and out. The Danes are supposed to have built them to defend themselves. Fairy people are supposed to have lived in them. It is believed by many that when hunters hunted hares, they would not catch them if the hares got into a fort because they were supposed to have been fairies
