    it. He got up and took the holy water bottle in his hand and blessed himself. Then on going to the room-door he opened it and what should he see sitting under a salt box in the corner but a little black man with a deck of cards in his hand. The man of the house was terrified and he shook the holy water round the house and the black man disappeared on the moment. From that day onward the son never went to any house to play a card when the father told him what happened.
