  1. About forty years ago there lived a man named John Reilly in Greaghadusson and he made two songs, one about this school, and another about his child. This is the first verse of the song he wrote on this school
    "I saw strange plans in many lands,
    Political buildings that gleamed like pearl,
    But none so grand in any land,
    as that new school is Lisnagirl."
    He composed another song about his child. When he was five years old he swallowed a half-penny and died. This song was made forty years ago.
