- (continued from previous page)the lime on the fire and burned it. When they had that done they mixed it up and down. There were twenty four men burning the lime. They mixed it with picks.
- Many years ago there was a man named Patrick Smyth who lived beside the town of Mullagh. The people used to think that he was a great basketmaker. They used to get their baskets made by him.
He was nearly blind. He used to buy the rods in Mullaghh. It used to take him two days to make a basket.
