    One night when Johnny Coyle from Blackhills was coming home from his ceillide he found a very heavy thing on his back. He carried it for more than a mile of the road. Then he began praying and cursing and when he came near home he jumped off his back into the bushes.
    Another night when Dan Maclabe from Ballynamoney was going from a wake when he was going through Jack Carrol's street he saw a big man standing in a shed. When he was going down the lane he saw him
