    It is a custom around this area to get a spool of thread and tie it to the knocker of a door and then go and hide and keep pulling the knocker and the people of the house think it is a fairy.
    At the tea a brack is eaten, in the brack there is a ring and it is believed that whoever gets the ring will be married soon.
    If a girl wishes to see the man who she is destined to marry she must lay out a table with tea things for two persons. If the man is in America or Australia he will walk in at the hour of midnight.
