  2. Long ago people believed in many signs of coming storm. When the cat sits with its back to the fire it indicates coming rain, another sign of rain is when the swallow touches the ground, or when the swallow comes back early. If the dog eats grass or the crow seems to fall to the ground as if struck, when flying, it indicates coming rain. A sign of coming snow is the robin coming to the door. When ants are seen flying
