- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)When he came to his own house he placed a saucepan on the fire for some tea. He took the pinkish daisy from his neck and threw it three times into the air, saying
"pinkish daisy,
Three times tossed,
Where is the sixpence
I have lost?"
And the pinkish daisy said at once.
"Under the table, just crack, crack",
There indeed it was.
It did rather seem as if the tiny man might have done all this at first, but he was the kind of man who never thought of things at first, but only a long time afterwards.
