  1. The following is a list of proverbs. A penny saved is a penny gained. The day of the wind is not the day to put on the scollops. New kings make new laws. What is in a cat is in a kitten. A rolling stone gather's no moss. Early to bed early to rise makes a person healthy wealthy and wise. It is better to get up early than to sit up late.
    Foolish men build houses for wise men (for) to live in. A bird in the hand is worth two in the (build) bush. Never forsake the old for the new. Its time enough to bid the devil good morrow till you meet him. He who bathes in May will soon be laid in clay. He who bathes in June will sing
